Quick Completion in the End

Weather is unpredictable and at times places a pause on plans, but my window vinyl was done and they did a great job on my marketing. The reason why it's 4 stars is because important information was not provided and incomplete job at first. I was not told about the temperature requirement until after we scheduled the 1st appointment, and then I was emailed to cancel due to the temperature. It was rescheduled for the second time. I was told it would be a 3-hour job, so I ran a few errands. When I left a business, it had begun to rain. It had not been raining long and it was at the 3-hour mark, so I called to ask if it was complete and was told no, and the rain affected the process, but it would finish when the rain stopped. I had asked my son to meet me at FastSigns so we could go out to eat after. As I was getting out on the road, they called and said we would need to reschedule for the 3rd time, but due to the weather, the time frame wasn’t guaranteed but it looked like it would be over a week before we could get on the schedule. I understood because the weather forecast was not great. I would have understood more if there was not an inside option until I asked if there was a local sister store that has an indoor facility and was told yes, Winchester has an indoor space. But not knowing my son had parked at FastSigns and texted before they called and said it had started raining harder and 2 employees were outside in the rain trying to put vinyl on my back window. They were wiping the window as they were going, trying to dry it and place it. Weather is no one's fault, but failing to say it needed to be over 50 before ordering and scheduling is important to let someone know in the middle of December. It could have waited for warmer weather, but also not providing the option for a sister store with an indoor facility to ensure a scheduled appointment could have been completed the first time. Although my experience was not time-efficient, every interaction was pleasant with the staff and communication was great besides these 2 important factors. So I was scheduled in Winchester and they completed my job in a quick time frame. I was able to pick up my van a little after 10. I am very pleased with the overall job in the end. I do recommend this company, but now I know there is an option for weather-related jobs.
